Hi there! I'm Ishita Pathak, a computer science student at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University For Women in Delhi, India. Alongside my studies, I've immersed myself in the world of technology, honing my skills in various programming languages like C++, JavaScript, Dart, and Python. I've also strong foundation with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web development. Currently, I'm learning machine learning and data analysis.

Beyond the confines of academia, I actively engage with the tech communities. Meeting people who share my interests is always exciting! I've also attended few workshops on Web3, and I'm excited to explore and learn more about web3 space in near future.

    I am proficient in front-end web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Additionally, I am familiar with the React library. I have applied these skills to build various web development projects, showcasing my ability to create dynamic and interactive web experiences.

    I excel in Dart programming language and Flutter framework for frontend. For backend services, I leverage Firebase, a Backend-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform.     @GDSC IGDTUW

    As a mentor at the Google Developer Students Club, I take Flutter sessions and provide guidance to a cohort comprising over 50 mentees. In these interactive sessions, the focus is on practical implementation of Flutter and Firebase, leveraging project-based learning approaches to deepen understanding. Moreover, I actively contribute as a maintainer for a Flutter project as part of GDSC's SnowScript Winter of Code.

    Contributed to model validation for one of the model from Ersilia Model Hub during Outreachy contribution phase in March 2024, Worked on the deephERG model(eos30gr), which uses deep neural networks to predict the likelihood of blocking hERG channel. After analyzing results from publications and those obtained from Ersilia model ,concluded that model struggles to differentiate between hERG blockers and non-blockers.

    As a member of React Delhi team, I've contributed in partnerships with tech communities, to increase reach & broaden awareness about ongoing events. This involves connecting with organizers of the events, facilitating speaker exchange between our communities, collaboration on joint events and workshops. Also, I've had the privilege of hosting speakers during events, enriching discussions & knowledge sharing within community.
